The fish farming is in worldwide constant evolution, with a production about 60 million tons of aquatic products in 2004 (fishes, shells, shellfishes and seaweeds).

 

 

 

As opposed to that, the fishing sector’s evolution is decreasing, and the fishing effort is more and more limited by new rules.
